Toulouse Lautrec And Jasper Knight

Alliance Francaise de Sydney logo

Join us for a fascinating online conversation with Australian contemporary artist Jasper Knight about his last exhibition, inspired by Toulouse Lautrec.

In June, the Alliance Française Sydney welcomed some beautiful panels on the exterior of the building, masking the renovation work being done to the facade of the building. These have been specially made by renowned Australian artist Jasper Knight. His last twelve paintings, recently exhibited at the Chalk Horse gallery, are re-interpretations of Henri De Toulouse Lautrec’s most iconic art prints. They have been reproduced and enlarged to cover the scaffolding as we replace the sun louvres of Alliance Française’s historical Harry Seidler building.

After a short presentation on Toulouse Lautrec, the interview will be facilitated by Marie Chretien, Vice President of the board of directors.

Talk is online and in English.
