Colours Of Impressionism

VIDEO CONFERENCE TALK: COLOURS OF IMPRESSIONISM

During this online conference, Marie Chrétien revisits for a second time an extraordinary exhibition from the Musée d’Orsay and South Australia Art Gallery, which includes 65 of the museum’s most treasured paintings by Monet, Manet, Renoir, Pissaro and others.

Marie will explore the ways this exhibition offers a fresh perspective on Impressionism focusing on the colours used by the artists at key stages of their careers, and revealing how revolutionary the Impressionists were in their quest to represent the modern world.
